Why are companies so parinoid?
It’s not that companies are paranoid its that so many people are becoming good liars. Part of the reason for background checks is to assure that you don’t have a record and aren’t telling them, another is to assure you are not going to be a danger to the other employees. A safe work environment is very important to both the management and associates of any company. You want to be able to go to work and know your not sitting next to a convicted killer or someone with a hair trigger paranoid aggressive personality disorder. This is the reason for the psyche tests.
