How important is small business insurance?
Logically it makes sense to me that you must have small business insurance for your business however, I am wondering how important it really is. We are a small office doing a lot of contracted graphics work. It is myself and a couple of other 1099 employees. I rent a small office space, however mostly do my work from the local coffee shop or home. Nobody is telling me I must have small business insurance, except my wife. I am working off a pretty tight budget and would love not to have another expense, however If someone could tell me of the real importance to having this kind of insurance I would make the investment.
