Steve Jobs Health is the Big News
I guess the big topic in the computer world these days is the state of Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ health and fitness. Apparently he’s been looking sort of thin and sickly lately, starting rumors that he’s not well, because he had cancer a few years ago. First Apple said he had a "bug", then they said that he had a unnamed surgery that caused digestive difficulties, leading to the weight loss he’s experienced.
The story further goes that he called some reporter and told him that he’d give him the scoop on his health if he agreed to keep it off the record, even though the reporter is "a slime bucket who gets most of his facts wrong". The reporter, then, while unable to provide specifics on the record, confirmed that Jobs had told him that his health problems were not cancer and not life threatening. But I doubt if that’s the last we’re going to hear of this.
