Child Psychiatry 101
I’ve been having a hard time figuring out how to get my sons involved in making their room look clean and neat. I’ve had to go through the routine of repeatedly telling them to put up their toys and clean the room every night. I decided to use a little child psychiatry. I told them that we were going to decorate their room together. At first they didn’t like the idea and said, “Oh Mom, sounds like work to me.” I was able to change their little minds when I brought out these stencils for us to decorate their walls with. I found instructions on How to Stencil, which I printed out on line so it wouldn’t be like brain surgery. Together we put the most creative images on their walls of characters the boys admire from the action movies they watch. They loved it!
