Pro players make sacrifices
Few professional sports players will argue with me when I state that to become a nationally known sports player you must make many sacrifices in life. It is not all about taking pictures with fans, signing autographs, luxury suites and big paychecks. Most of the stars are on the road and practicing more hours a week than the most over worked business professional. Basketball, baseball and football stars know this most because their seasons are watched and scrutinized by millions of people every day. They are written about in newspapers and magazines. A minor mistake for us is a major one for them. They rarely see their families and must put their personal lives out for all to see.
